Soft Volume and Delicate Curls Made Simple and Inexpensive
I have been using the Dan Technology thermal brush to style my wife and daughter’s hair, and it’s quickly become a go-to tool for adding soft volume and shine—especially on shorter, layered cuts and longer bangs. It heats up quickly and is easy to maneuver, thanks to the rotating cord (note: the brush itself doesn’t spin). While it doesn’t create dramatic curls, it does a nice job curling the ends and smoothing out the top layers for a softer, more natural look.In my experience, it worked best on shorter hair and front sections, but results may vary depending on hair type and texture. For us, it offered a gentler finish than some of the other tools we own—like curling irons that can be a bit harsh on bangs—and it’s much quicker to use.A couple of things to note: the cord is a bit shorter than we’re used to (just over 5 feet), and there’s no kickstand, so you’ll need to lay it flat between sections. Holds style for fine hair
Works great on fine hair!I use Matrix volume shampoo and conditioner and then John Freida volume mousse. I dried my hair and then used this curling brush. It worked great! Heated up quickly and added lots of volume. Styled great and looks professional! I am not good at styling my hair, but this made it easy. A good hairspray to hold and it has lasted all day! I would recommend this product and would purchase it again!

I got this DAN Technology Thermal, Ceramic Curling, Non-Blowing Heated Round brush for my daughter and wife to use. They’ve been using for over a month now and both really like it for the most part. It seems well made and we haven’t had any issues so far. The design is nice and looks like it should be a lot more than it is at this great value. The brush heats up quickly but maybe not hot enough for some. The bristles are nice, not too thick and glide through their hair.However, if you looking for really dramatic curls, you probably won’t get it with this brush. It does a great job light curling and doesn’t seem to singe their hair on either of the two heat settings. It doesn’t have a blow feature which my wife says helps keep down the frizz so not having it is a good thing for her. Depending on how far away your outlet is, the cord might be a little short at around 5 feet but they both sit at a vanity desk that has a built in plug and have plenty of cord. Overall, they are happy with this curling brush and only wish it had a bit more power for more dramatic curls.
