This is a review for Achillea Warm Cashmere-Feel Winter Scarf – Thick Shawl Wrap for Cold Weather, Blanket Scarf for Everyday Wear (Black), manufactured by Achillea.I hate heavy winter layers, but this brutal season forced me to find warmer solutions that don’t feel like I’m wearing a blanket everywhere I go. The Achillea Cashmere-Feel Shawl has become my go-to add-on layer for quick errands, especially when a light jacket needs just a bit more warmth without adding bulk.In the majority of my reviews, products start out with five stars. I deduct stars for each characteristic that could be considered universally unfavorable. I’ve given this product five stars. Let me explain.Pros- Soft cashmere-like feel, although cashmere does tend to be softer in my experience- Oversized 84-inch length for flexible styling and coverage, can be worn as a big scarf as well- Versatile black color that pairs with most outfits; I got the black and it goes with all my jackets, coats, and vests. Pairs well with a blazer as well- Not bulky, won’t take too much room up in your closet or on you, you don’t constantly have to adjust it- Washes and dries beautifully (with proper care)Cons- Requires hand washing, but it washes and dries – reassuringly – easily and quickly.Is It Worth the Price?Yes. The price feels fair for what you’re getting: a shawl with a luxurious, soft hand-feel and real day-to-day usefulness in cold weather. If you’re looking for warmth that complements lighter jackets and doesn’t add heaviness, this is an easy item to justify.

This shawl feels very warm and cozy and can be worn a few different ways. I’ve used it both wrapped around my neck and draped over my shoulders, which is how I prefer to wear it. The fabric is soft and comfortable, with no itchiness at all, even against bare skin.It has a nice weight to it — warm without feeling bulky — and the oversized size makes it easy to style as a scarf or shawl. Once on, it feels very comforting and insulating.The only downside was a noticeable odor when it first came out of the package. It was a bit distracting at first, but the smell faded quickly after airing out and wasn’t an ongoing issue.Overall, this is a soft, warm, versatile piece that’s comfortable to wear and works well for cold weather layering.

Delivers on all of its promises- this one truly feels luxury
I think most of us get the idea of an item being “cashmere feel,” so you can only imagine my surprise when I took it out and realized this is one of the softest things I’ve ever felt.This scarf truly delivers on the whole idea of being buttery soft and warm. I’m not quite sure how they did it, but I think this is as close to the real thing as you’re going to get, especially at this price point.The scarf is really big; I leave it at work and use it as a shawl, and it’s warm enough that it works in that fashion without needing to be doubled up—although it does also make for a gorgeous chunky scarf.The end tassels are well done, and it’s knit together impeccably with a tiny bit of line work that shows in a tasteful, aesthetically pleasing sense that reminds me of hand-sewn items.Even the tag is gorgeous. If I didn’t know any better (and actually, I don’t), I would think that Achillea is a major luxury brand.The color is vivid on top of the rest of the excellence of construction here, and this item at this price is a steal all around.

Almost will fool you it’s real cashmere
My wife actually thought this was Cashmere At first… But then she looked at the tag. I know it’s not cashmere but it’s very nice and soft and doesn’t feel scratchy but this is an actual real winter scarf. We try to keep scarves by the door when it’s cold before we go out, but this thing almost looks like a jacket but it’s not so bulky that you still can’t wrap it up like a regular scarf. My wife said it wraps around your neck and face really well and still leaves plenty to tuck in a jacket and or just keep you extra warm on your shoulders. All the threading and stitching was good didn’t see anything messed up. Unless somebody’s real familiar with cashmere, you would probably fool them especially in the cold. The pink color is actually really fun, my wife said all of her other scarves are either a white cream or dark so this one really stands out and she likes that. It’s big enough to almost be a bolero. At this price you can afford more than one or a color you like. Recommend.
