Super cute, comfy, HATE the elastic waistband
Anytime leggings are called “tummy control”, I worry that this means they will have that thin piece of elastic at the waist (which does not control tummies, btw). Unfortunately, that was the case with this pair of leggings. Everything else about these leggings are great. The material is soft and supportive, which makes me question why they put the uncomfortable, unflattering piece of elastic in the waistband. The checkered print is cute and fun. The fit is accurate. The pockets are great. Had I known about the elastic band, that would have been a deal breaker. But folding it down below my belly button makes it less uncomfortable, so I’m gonna go with it. For reference, picture one is pulled up to the natural waist, where the band feels tight and uncomfortable and is an unflattering fit. The second photo is folded over so that it sits below the waist and feels so much better.

Ideal Leggings For New Year’s Fitness Goals
These flattering high waist leggings have highly reinforced cut in leg and tummy seams which make them easy to slip on but have a comfortable, snug, body hugging and slimming effect. The 3 quarter Polyester and 1 quarter Spandex blend provides comfortable support with no bunching or riding up during my aggressive sports play, when stretching or exercising.I have matched this patterned legging with a number of my solid colored short tennis type plain colored skirts for a cute pickleball outfit.True to size and much thicker material than expected, they’re ideal for wrap around muscle warmth and stayed in place during movement with no underwear lines or cellulite bunching effect showing.The generous 9 inch pockets are unusually deep, allowing you to comfortably carry a larger smart phone, sunglasses, sunscreen, bug spray, protection alarm, keys/fobs or other needed items without fear of them popping out and getting lost like all the other shallow pocketed leggings I have.Following the care instructions, I have machine washed them once so far in cold water and of course line dried them, as is standard with any spandex material, with no color bleed or fading occurring.Initially thought these were a little pricey, but once I received them it was immediately obvious they are at least double the thickness of the typical workout leggings and will likely wash and wear well for many years so definately worth it.

Big variety of prints plus pockets!
I am on the high side of the size chart for these, probably a bit out of it actually, but I squeezed into the largest size of these DROEYROEST High Waisted Workout Leggings. I’m normally a 2X and have large hips and thighs. As you can see from the photo, they are not exactly flattering on my large thighs, but I don’t really plan on a lot of people seeing me in these. I got the 80’s print, since I am a big fan of that decade being in my upper 40’s myself. These are a bit long for me at 5’3″, but they don’t hang over my feet since they are snug. I like to pull them up high and try to hold in the midsection a bit. They have pockets that fit my iphone 16 pretty securely. These are a polyester spandex blend, and seem to be nicely sewn and a good quality.

The material is great and it looks just like the pictures, but it was bigger than expected, so ORDER A SIZE DOWN! The fabric is stretchy and very comfortable! Very cute for any 80’s theme event too! 🙂
