**I was supposed to have the special edition with the gold pages but instead, I got the one shown in the picture. I was so hyped up and excited. Only to be deflated and sad.**Now as for the actual story inside this novel…are you ready?!!!Here is my review:Filthy Rich Fae by Geneva Lee is more than just a hot angst read. It is more than just a paranormal action-packed romance novel. This story features a variety of characters that have lives that are rough. The fae while powerful, ageless, and beautiful are bound by rules. Never kill a heir nor its number one guard. If either one of them is killed there a select group called The Hunt. They hunt down the killers and kill them. There is no turning back. There is no court that can say even if the murder was in self defense that you won’t be killed for killing them. Once a murder happens, one is marked by magic. This magic marks the target to be hunted. There is no reversal, no help, no escape.Another part of the incredible tale is the young woman who has a checkered past. A past that almost destroyed her life and has her feeling like a victim at times. She wears a ring to remind her of all that she survived. Her brother still manages to get into major trouble. It’s not that he does not love his sister or she does not love him, but he just does stupid things from time to time. This particular time, he ends up owning the richest fae mafia guy and once you owe the fae something, it cannot be reversed. So, when the sister finds her brother almost died and why she charges over to the fae mafia boss. Little did she know he is fae and not a regular mafia criminal. He’s handsome, rich, and has powerful magic. She strikes a bargain without really knowing much.A desperate good woman and a powerful fae enticed with each other only to learn they aggravate each other as well. The attraction doesn’t die out neither does their fun bickering. The heat from these two is fun to follow. The teases they get from other characters is hilarious.The man, the fae, that she deemed a cruel monster turns out to be anything but a monster. He cares about his family the same way she cares about hers. He cares for her more than she ever dreamed. She sees him in a new perspective. However, trouble and murder find their way to their lives creating a mess that may never be fixed.Overall, Filthy Rich Fae by Geneva Lee is indeed a phenomenal read. I highly recommend it to all romantasy lovers! It’s got crime, action, humor, sexy vibes, and an emotional roller coaster that will keep you coming back for more. I look forward to the next grand adventure!

I still can’t piece everything together (in a good way), and the mystery just keeps unraveling.The chemistry between Lachlan and Cate? Off. The. Charts. Hot. They’re both stubborn, both protective, both fighting this intense pull. It’s enemies-to-lovers with a slow burn that finally ignites in the best way. His dark, dominant, protective energy is absolute perfection.The ending? Had me in a chokehold. Once the story really took off, I couldn’t put it down. Fae bargains, fated mates, impossible choices—this book is packed with morally gray characters, political court intrigue, dangerous magic, and a heroine who never stops fighting. Cate and Lachlan are addictive together, and every layer of this world made me want more.I’m absolutely continuing this series—no question.

It got me a little bit of time to get into it but once you hit the 40% mark you won’t be able to put it down. The intrigue really develops and keeps you hooked until the end leaving you wanting more and going crazy over the amount of time you have to wait for the next one. I loved the characters and the banter was funny and witty. The tension between Cate and Lach was so thick you could cut it with a knife. The pace was great and it was easy to understand the world the author created. I am definitely looking forward to the next one!
