Great for fine hair!
I LOVE Kitsch products and if you like the Amber Shores scent you, you will LOVE the smell of this!As someone with a lot of fine hair that’s pretty prone to laying flat, it’s super hard to find hair masks that don’t weigh my hair down. This one manages to condition without heaviness. My hair feels softer and more manageable, but not flat or greasy looking. You even get a great amount of product for the price. A little goes a looooong way. This will definitely be my new go to hair mask.

Smells great! Works wonders!
I hardly ever leave reviews but this one product deserves my time! Smells amazing and hydrated my dry and wavy hair. I tried the pro tip of applying to dry hair and washing it out and wasn’t as impressed as I was when I used it as conditioner in the shower. I washed normally, applied to well rinsed hair, left it on while I showered and shaved, rinse it out and towel dried. Blew out my hair with so much ease and it still smells great dry. 💯 recommend!

So i wanted to wait until i used the product a couple of times before leaving a review.First off, the smell is so amazing. I feel like im in a cabin. For ppl who have a sensitivity to smells, i wouldnt get this product.For my low porosity girls, 4b/4c hair; this product is for you. My hair feels incredibly moisturized after using this product ( before i even add any other products in my hair); the softness is incredible, buttery feeling when applied.This product is worth the cost. Although, i wish it was a bit cheaper since i deep condition my hair weekly. But if you’re a natural girlie, I’d recommend getting it.

I use the Kitsch purple shampoo bar occasionally, and their rice water shampoo and conditioner weekly. I love how my hair is soft and stays clean longer. I was excited to try their deep conditioning hair mask. I used a lot less than I normally do with my old deep conditioner, and I paired it with about 45 minutes with the steam cap. My hair is so soft, and no frizz.

Great for fine hair in the Winter
Love this thick conditioning mask. In Winter my fine hair tends to dry and tangle easily. This allows me to brush my long hair easily after towel drying and to easily run a brush through throughout the day before work calls. It’s also less expensive than many others too. Worth it.

This hair mask is FANTASTIC, and the smell is delicious!I received product today, and tried it tonight. I did as bottle suggested, and put it on my DRY hair for 20 minutes atthen rinsed out, followed by shampooing.This will be a staple in my home moving forward.I’m 59, shoulder length natural wavy hair…and gray (white).TRY IT…. YOU’LL LOVE IT!!

Shockingly Good
This mask is… life changing. I moved to an area that’s incredibly dry in the winter and my hair was so frizzy I had to wear it in a ponytail. Decided to try a mask and had absolutely no clue how DULL my hair was. This mask not only took care of the frizz after the first try, my hair looks like it changed color it’s so shiny and soft. Reviewing Kitsch Deep Conditioning Hair MaskThe product is very nice looking. The consistency of the mask is very creamy, but not heavy. It’s very much like a conditioner consistency. The directions say to either put on the bottom half of wet hair and leave on for 10 minutes, or to use on dry hair from root to tip and leave on for 20 minutes. They suggest the second method so that it coats each strand better without being diluted, so that’s the method I tried first. I don’t like it this way. First of all it was very hard to actually coat all my hair. A clump would look like it’s covered, but then when I broke it up, there was dry hair underneath. It also used a LOT of product to try to apply it dry. I felt like it was making my hair all knotted, and as someone who already deals with hair shedding, I didn’t want to comb through it to help coat the strands. But I did leave it on for the 20 minutes. I also did try applying it on wet hair. MUCH easier! I realize it’s not as “potent” when applying wet, but I will stick to this method from now on. Using it on wet hair was very much like applying conditioner, just leaving it on a little longer.Another thing to mention is that it is quite fragrant. It’s not perfumey smelling, but it definitely smells of typical “Beauty Product” fragrance. As someone who has a hard time with fragrance, I don’t care for it personally, and it is pretty strong. My husband could smell it from the other room while I was applying it. It’s not necessarily a bad smell, just way too strong.I am pleased with the effects. My hair isn’t frizz free, but it does feel moisturized and soft. The smell does linger in my hair, even after shampooing/drying, but not bad.I think the price is decent as long as you’re using it on wet hair and can get more uses out of it. On dry hair, I would say maybe 4 uses depending on your hair? I personally don’t think I’ll buy it again because of the strong smell, but maybe if there’s an unscented version.
