better than drug store clips.
I have thick straight heavy hair, and a lot of hair. Often clips from drug stores/big box stores just aren’t robust enough to hold up my hair if I twist it up in back (either they don’t open wide enough and/or claws aren’t long enough to get through the hair). I bought a clip when in Hong Kong once, I guess geared for Asian hair that worked really well, but that broke after 6 years of daily use. Since then, I was using the scuuni ones, but although they are a little more robust and grippy w/their rubber nubs, they are heavy and not very comfortable. After the spring on my last clip broke, I decided to just try these w/very low expectations – the cost for 8 is less than half the price of three that I used to buy. I was shocked and how well they work and can’t believe I was spending $ on the drug store variety every year. These actually work. They are slightly bigger than the one that I was using (measurements listed are correct), have a super strong spring, and are actually comfortable to wear. My only critique so far is that there are little sharp pointy areas at the sides where the formed plastic components are split apart from each other during the manufacturing process. It doesn’t affect the function at all, but I like smooth surfaces and didn’t want it to catch on my hair or scratch my fingers, so I just took a file to those areas and easily filed them down. For the cost, one can’t complain. All arrived intact. Now, I hope they all hold up for at least a year w/out breaking.

These hair clips work really well! They’re sturdy, hold a lot of hair without slipping, and the rectangular shape looks cute and simple. The 8-pack gives you plenty of color options, and they’re great for everyday use—whether you’re doing a quick messy bun or just pulling your hair back. Lightweight, strong, and super practical!

Great fun clips that get the job done at a great price!
A girl can never have too many clips and these were a bargain! I love the two styles & the colors to suit my moods and outfits. Long hair or short hair, they’re easy to use and comfortable for all day wear. I have shoulder length thick hair so the big 9 claw clips were a little larger than anticipated, but not a disappointment since both claw & rectangular styles were strong enough to securely hold my hair and look good. The teeth of the claws are rounded so no worries of unnecessary pulling and scrapes to the scalp. Although the clips appear well made, they were packaged and shipped with one broken clip . Considering the price, I definitely would not consider these “high end” but they’re also not the cheapest I have come across. For the value, this is still a good variety pack or starter pack of 8 clips in 4 different colors and two styles.

Better than most
compared to other brands i’ve bought (those plastic ones that the color scrapes off ew) these are really good. visually they are beautiful and they feel really strong, sadly one broke a week in but I think that was more my fault than the clips. I love the colors and options of styles, its great for if you have thick curly hair. (coming from someone with thick curly hair)

Overall good- opened the package and one came completely broken and then went to put one in my hair and it snapped into pieces.
