Quiet light for calmer nights
I received this LED light therapy mask for my wife, and it has quietly worked its way into our nightly wind-down routine. She likes that it covers both face and neck, and I appreciate that the controls are simple enough that I can set the timer for her while we watch a show. The different light colors make it feel a bit like bringing a small spa into our living room, without needing a degree to operate it.One thing that stands out is how portable it is. We recently took a long weekend trip, and it actually fit neatly into her tote bag alongside a book and her skincare, so she could use it in the hotel after a day of walking around. The built-in timer keeps sessions from dragging on, which is helpful for someone like me who tends to lose track of time if I sit still too long.A possible drawback for some people is that you do have to sit fairly still while using it, which might bug anyone who likes to multitask constantly, but for me that forced pause is actually a plus. The gentle glow is not harsh, and it has become a small signal in the evening that it is time to slow down and get ready for bed.

Didn’t fit my face, but maybe it fits yours
I thought about giving this less stars since it doesn’t fit my face and won’t work for me, but I think I may have a small face. I’m 5’5″, and I weigh 118 pounds. While I think my hat size is relatively “normal”, I do have small ears, hands, fingers, and feet, so maybe I have a small face as well. I know I have a small nose because I can only wear sunglasses that have an adjustable nose piece so I can tighten it to get them to stay up.As you can see in the photo, my mouth is above the mouth opening, so my whole chin is in the mouth opening. I experimented with the positioning many times in case it was user error. I really wanted this to work because it was lightweight and comfortable, and I love that includes the neck cover. It seems easy to use and high-quality, and I’m a fan of red light therapy. I also liked that this had the other color options. Unfortunately, I don’t want to invest the time into using this with it not fitting well, so this isn’t a good value for me personally.

Excellent product, but remote needs improvement
I’ve had the opportunity to test and review multiple light therapy masks before. This gives me the unique ability to compare the features of the hlpsionlp LED Light Therapy facial mask with similar devices. Overall, I believe this mask is a winner. It performs well and has many excellent features. There are however, a couple of things I’ve liked better on others. The first thing I noticed about this mask was how comfortable it is. The materials it’s made from are soft and flexible. Parts that touch the skin feel very pleasant. It hugged my face nicely and didn’t feel stiff. It’s easy to attach and adjust with Velcro straps on the side. The silicone eye cups are the softest I’ve experienced in a light mask, and they completely block the light providing excellent protection for the eyes. Having open eye cups like these instead of eye shields is much preferable. I don’t feel “closed in” (I’m a bit claustrophobic), and I can also move around and do things during treatment. Since this mask is powered by a rechargeable battery, I don’t have to be tethered to an outlet. This device does more than red light therapy. There are seven light choices in all, each performing a different function. A small instruction manual is included. While the actual device instructions aren’t exceptionally well written (English translation is not the best, but good enough to understand), the descriptions of the various light functions is quite good and helps the user make an informed decision on which light therapy is best for their needs. All functions of the mask are set with a remote. I find this much preferable to those that have the controls on the actual mask. The remote is fairly simple, there are only two buttons on it. I don’t find it to be the most user-friendly though. It doesn’t contain the best indicator of chosen settings. Some units have digital displays that tell the user what settings have been chosen, others have written lists with an indicator light beside the current function. This remote has neither of those arrangements.Multiple light modes and intensity levels allow the user to customize their light experience to provide the best therapy for their condition. There are five light intensity levels. Repeated pressing of the left button increases the light intensity. (It’s always suggested starting with the lowest level then increasing the intensity once you know you aren’t going to have a negative reaction to it.) A light illuminates by the chosen level of D1 through D5. There are seven light modes: red (530nm), blue (460nm), green (520nm), purple (630nm + 460nm), yellow (520nm + 630nm), cyan (520 +460nm) and white (460nm + 520nm + 630nm). (If you are unfamiliar with the function of these different lights be sure to read the brief description in the manual.) The light modes are changed by short pressing the power button. They cycle in the same order that they’re listed in the manual, but there’s nothing on the remote to indicate which mode has been chosen. One will have to memorize the order or keep a list nearby and count the number of presses if they are to know which mode is being used. This unit does not have a “memory” function to remember the last user settings. Some things just don’t make sense with the remote. The button that changes intensity levels pictures a clock face, which seems like it should be used for time setting too. The default setting is ten minutes. If there’s a way to choose a different time setting I haven’t found it, nothing is mentioned in the manual. The power button has an “M” above it. Since this button is also used to choose the light mode, I can understand that. However, there are three lights above the power/mode button, but they don’t seem to indicate any setting. They are always illuminated when the power is on. Though functional, I find the remote poorly designed and confusing. It is the reason I deducted a star.In addition to the face mask, this device has an extended light pad to treat the neck/chest area too. It’s a feature found in some therapy masks but not all. While I love the dual treatment, if it isn’t desired this extension doesn’t have to be attached. (Important note: if you have hyperthyroidism, aka Grave’s Disease, then you might want to consult your doctor before using RLT in the neck area as the stimulation could worsen the symptoms.) Again, they’ve designed this mask so the user can customize their therapy. I love the versatility. I will be using it, not only for the cosmetic benefits but also for the potential relief of neck pain. Red light therapy has been used to help alleviate neck pain by increasing blood flow to the area. While I can’t say for sure that I’ll experience this benefit, it’s certainly a nice bonus if it does work!I’m quite pleased with this light therapy mask. It’s comfortable, performs well and has many customizable features. I’m very happy that a treatment session is only ten minutes. I may not have a half hour to set aside for this, but I can easily spare ten minutes. The mask seems to be well made and is adjustable for a variety of sizes. If the remote had a better display of chosen settings (light choice, time remaining) and the device had a memory of last user settings then it would be perfect. I’d also like to see some kind of storage provided like a case or pouch. Still, even with the quirks, this is an excellent light mask and I recommend it.****About me: Integrity is very important to me. Reviews I’ve posted will be from items I’ve had direct contact with. These are my honest opinions. I will not post a review for a product I have not had personal contact with.

Nice Design
I really like this product. I was truly impressed by the effect of this red light therapy mask! From the moment I started using it, I could feel the changes on my skin. These seven light modes are excellent – I particularly like the combination of red light and near-infrared light, which significantly enhances the elasticity of my skin and gives it a healthy, radiant glow in just a few weeks. Blue and orange lights are also an added benefit, helping to balance oiliness and soothe redness. Its design is excellent – it is lightweight, breathable and fits very well, without making people feel bulky. I really like the built-in blackout eye mask. It makes my eyes feel relaxed and safe every time. It is also completely wireless. This is a place that changes the game rules. I can walk around, read and even do yoga while using it.If you want to try red light therapy at home, he is the one you are looking for. It’s very effective, comfortable and makes skin care feel effortless. My skin looks brighter, smoother and younger – highly recommended!
