Good heat protection spray, not really a frizz control spray
I like this brand, and overall I like this product. But I had to dock a star because it doesn’t do all of the things it claims to do. The thing it does best is heat protection/shine boosting when using heat tools. That’s what the bottle itself says it does, and it does that well. I sprayed it on before using a round brush hair dryer, and it definitely helped smooth out my strands.As for some of the other things it claims to do, I didn’t notice any frizz control unless we’re talking about after using heat tools, in which case the heat itself is really the de-frizzing agent. On air-dried hair, I still had plenty of frizz. I also didn’t feel like there was any “deep hydration” happening. This is a light spray, so it can’t take the place of a curl cream or smoothing potion without applying heat.As for repair and strengthening, breakage defense, and elasticity support – I feel like these all mean the same thing, and I suppose the heat protection function could help with these. Otherwise, on air-dried hair, it didn’t seem like there was anything happening that would have made a difference. Detangling – this didn’t help with that. I had to use a leave-in conditioner after I experienced some difficulty trying to brush my wet hair with only this spray on it.I don’t mean this to sound overly negative. This is a good product overall. Just know that it’s real purpose, IMO, is for heat protection and smoothing while you’re using heat tools. It does do that, and it does it well. I would consider getting it again for that. If you’re thinking it’s an all-in-one miracle product for your hair, that’s expecting too much.The smell is nice and relatively mild. The manufacture date shows that it was made less than three months before the date I ordered it, so it hasn’t been sitting on a dusty shelf somewhere. The expiration date is nearly three years out, so there’s plenty of time to use it.

I have long, very fine, straight hair that normally goes flat the second I stop styling it, so I always approach “beach wave” sprays with realistic expectations. This sea salt texturizing spray claims you can mist it onto damp or wet hair, scrunch, and get effortless waves but if your hair is similar to mine, that’s probably not going to happen. This isn’t going to magically create curls where there are none. That said, it does deliver in other really nice ways.What I did notice immediately is volume and light texture without any of the crunchy, greasy, or gritty feeling that a lot of salt sprays leave behind. My hair stayed surprisingly soft and touchable while still having more body and lift, which is honestly a big win for fine, flat hair. It gives that “airy” fullness that makes hair look healthier and thicker without weighing it down.The scent is clean and fresh without being overpowering, and it fades nicely once the hair dries. It’s pleasant enough that it doesn’t clash with perfume or other products.Looking at the ingredient list, there are a few things worth noting. Along with sea salt for texture, this formula includes hydrolyzed wheat, soy, corn, and keratin proteins, which can help give fine hair more structure and strength, and panthenol (Pro-Vitamin B5), which supports moisture and softness. That combo explains why the hair gets more body without feeling dry or straw-like. On the flip side, it does contain alcohol denat., which helps the spray dry quickly and boost volume, but could be slightly drying for very dry or damaged hair if used heavily.Overall, I think this spray is best suited for people who already have some natural wave or curl and want to enhance it, or for anyone with fine hair who wants more volume and texture without sacrificing softness. It won’t give you true beach waves if your hair is pin-straight, but it will give you a slightly fuller, more dimensional hair that still feels clean and healthy.
