Bought this as a surprise for my wife after hearing her complain about dry and frizzy hair, and it turned out to be a hit. The SAUCE BEAUTY Guacamole Whip Hair Mask not only smells amazing (like a sweet blend of avocado and honey), but it also left her hair noticeably softer and smoother after just one use. She said it felt like a professional deep conditioning treatment, but for a fraction of the price.The texture is rich and creamy, and a little goes a long way, so the 12 oz jar is a great value. My wife has color-treated hair, and it helped reduce frizz and added some nice shine without weighing it down. Definitely a repeat buy—happy wife, happy life!

Before trying this, I had only ever used one other hair mask, a Rosemary Hair Mask that a friend recommended. I didn’t really know much about hair masks at the time. It was fine, but I never noticed much of a difference, even after buying and using it multiple times.Then another friend suggested the Guacamole Whip Hair Mask, and wow, this one is on a completely different level. By far the best hair mask I’ve ever used, and honestly not even comparable to the first one.The scent is incredible, the portion size is generous, and most importantly, it has completely changed the chemistry of my hair. My hair is no longer dry, brittle, and frizzy. It’s noticeably softer, shinier, and over all just healthier. I will buy this hair mask for the rest of my life. I bought 2 containers, and divided them in to small 3 oz jars to share with my friends for Christmas. I loved the product so much I tried all of the other Sauce Beauty products. It has been a very fun year with Sauce Beauty.

Great for my wavy/curly hair!
This hair mask is amazing! Not only does it smell really good, but it has made my hair shiny and soft. It has also restored hydration in my hair after I bleached it. My hair is naturally curly/wavy and this has my waves and curls looking really pretty without having to use any added products or hot tools to get them that way. I also feel like it has helped my hair become thicker as well. It’s honestly just an overall amazing hair mask. A little goes a long way with it so this jar has lasted me a few months despite my hair being very long. I’m definitely going to order another one once I run out.

Agh! I’m not one to rave about hair products, because I’m lazy and bad at everything to do with hair. I got this as a gift a few years ago and finally busted it out after another conditioner ran out. Started to notice on days after I’d used it that my hair was super soft (but not greasy, huh???), shiny, and healthy-looking. Others also commented. So, it works.It’s not too expensive and lasts a while. I use it 2-3x/week, keeping it on for about 3-5min in the shower. I only use from about my ears to the bottom of my hair, which is how I use any other conditioner to avoid greasing out the roots.My hair is aging and getting drier, but on a naturally oily scalp in a very humid climate. The fact that this makes my hair all the good things without weighing it down or making me look like a soaked rat after a few hours is pretty shocking. Have already re-ordered.

Wonderful mask
I love this mask! I use it every other time I wash my hair. I have curly hair and it doesn’t weigh down my curls, but makes them super shiny and soft. It also smells great. Definitely would recommend if you need more moisture in your hair!

The color of the product and consistency is now different from when I originally purchased it over the years. It’s still a good product, but not the amazing one it once was. That’s why I’m now giving it 4 instead of 5 stars.***Original review from the original product***My hair is thick, curly, dry and can be hard to manage. After one use of this hair mask, my hair feels AMAZING! It left my hair softer, healthier and easier to manage. Definitely a staple in my hair care routine.

Best mask I’ve ever tried as someone else with damaged hair
I don’t normally leave Amazon reviews but I just had to for this one. I have been cutting and dying my own hair since 2017, and have endured years of box dyes and do-it-yourself bleach treatments. My hair is pretty thick and course, so it doesn’t damage easy, but it would be wrong to say it isn’t damaged. This hair mask has been my saving grace. I have tried a plethora of treatments, from cheap hair masks all the way to chemical protein treatments. Out of all of them, the Guacamole Whip hair mask by SAUCE has been the best. Which is surprising, because it isn’t necessarily advertised as a cure to severe hair damage.Will this fix all of your problems? No. You should ideally pair this treatment with a microfiber hair towel, heat protectant, satin/silk pillowcases, and even a hair bonnet. A hair mask is not a replacement for taking proper care of yourself. However, this will make it ten times easier. It smells amazing, a little goes a long way, it is silky smooth, and it is AMAZING. I am very sensitive to greasiness and oils, and this has never given me issues. I honestly have had times where I haven’t fully washed it out and it’s been fine.If you’re gonna buy a hair mask, this is the one. I truly think it will work for all hair types, too.
