500m negative ions! Can you imagine what that does? I can’t, but I can see the results.
How does one measure the amount of ions coming out of this magical hair drying brush contraption? I can’t measure even one ion, so I’ll leave that for someone smarter to confirm.From my experience, this brush performs exceptionally well—it may be the influence of the negative ions, but either way, it effectively caters to my needs. For days when I need my hair to be straight after stepping out of line, it provides that perfect boost. However, I should note that the brush is relatively heavy, which could pose a challenge for those with weaker wrists.The sound produced by this brush is akin to that of an automatic car wash. While typical hair dryers can be loud, this device creates noise that is particularly close to your ear while in use, which might be uncomfortable for those sensitive to sound. If you’re among those individuals, earplugs could be beneficial, although I understand that many people may not be considering hair dryers at all if they’re sound-sensitive.On a positive note, I’ve noticed a significant reduction in frizz when using this brush. I appreciate the safety feature of a GFCI plug, which adds an extra layer of protection. Although I haven’t personally tested it, I trust it functions properly. The brush heats up quickly but doesn’t become excessively hot, and the filter is easy to clean.One drawback I encountered is the lack of a storage cap to protect the bristles. Without it, they can become bent when stored against other objects.Overall, I find the hair drying brush works flawlessly, efficiently drying my hair and reducing frizz. Effective but not as much volume as I’d like
This is an effective blow dryer brush. I have the similar style brush from T3 and I think this works almost as well for less cost.The good:-smaller in overall size than the T3 which makes it better for travel-blow dries well and efficiently-turns on easily and intuitive to useThe not so good:-heavier than the T3 which isn’t super noticeable and works fine for my short hair but might be a nuisance if you have to use for long periods of time.-I appreciate that there’s a straightening side and a blow dry side but I’d personally prefer if it had blow drying bristles all over since my pin straight hair needs volume not to be straighter. Since the blow dry brush is only on one side it doesn’t give me the same volume or swoop out my bangs as well as my other brush since I can’t twirl it as I usually would-compared to my other tool, this one only has heat setting whereas my other brush has options for hair texture. Not sure how much of an overall difference that makes but it is helpful for my thick hairWhile I think brushes that have blow dry bristles all around are more effective for the classic blowout look, I’d recommend if you need both blow dry and straightener tools since it might eliminate the need for two and save time if it was working both styles at once!

Blow dry and style in one step one tool
I don’t know why I didn’t do this sooner. TYMO 4.0 Hair Blow Dryer Brush makes life so much easier. No more struggling with brush in one hand and a blow dryer on the other. I guess I’m always like if it’s not broke why fix it kind of mind. But efficiency is important and this make it so. Also this is really important to me–a GFCI power cord. Products made outside of US many times don’t come with it. This blow dryer brush does. I like the safety.The brush isn’t too heavy. It’s lighter than I expected, but still heavier than your regular dryer. If you have arthritis or older, I can see how this would be too heavy though. I use the volumizing side of the brush and it really gives me a nice blow out. I have long fine hair. It doesn’t take long for my hair to dry so the lower temperatures of this dryer brush works for me. My hair didn’t get tangled in the brush. I don’t know how much it tames frizziness. I use a leave-in conditioner/hair protector and that does the job.What I don’t like is the design of the temperature controls. I don’t like the twist design. I end up unscrewing the vent area sometimes. The letters are too small for older eyes and it’s hard to see where it’s set.Regarding value, the price is at 80 dollars at the time of reviewing. That seems okay. I wouldn’t pay more though. This is like 4.5 for me so I’m giving it 5 stars.

One tool that smooths, volumizes, and dries!
I own several other TYMO hair tools, so I already expected good quality, and this hair dryer brush definitely delivers. Right out of the box, it feels solid and well built, not flimsy at all. I like that you turn it on by rotating the base; it’s intuitive and easy to control. There are two heat settings plus a cool option, which is plenty for everyday use. The size and weight feels good in the hand, not too heavy.The brush has two sides: the black side which is plastic comb for smoothing and the white bristle side for volume. I started using this on about 90% wet hair, and it took roughly 10 minutes to fully dry. I alternated between both sides and I’m not sure it made a difference, but I’m excited to know with more experience I can achieve better results.I love that this is great for drying and smoothing/styling at the same time. In the end, I passed this on to my daughter, who is always pressed for time. She wanted something that would help her get ready faster, and this fits that need perfectly. Overall, it’s a great option if you’re looking to save time while drying and smoothing your hair in one step.
