Beautiful and flattering ruched maxi dress- not really a floral print though~
I really love cottage floral style dresses and I’ve seen similar styles to this at stores like Anthro that are very expensive- so I was excited to be able to order this dress in the “Cosmos Floral Stripe” version. It looked like a really cute and summery floral design with a girly, flattering cut. I am 5’4, 119 pounds for reference and I received the size Small. It fits me perfectly!The things I love about this dress are:- the wide straps that are ruched and have a cute little ruffle trim on the edges- They make this dress so much more flattering and give it a more structured look than spaghetti straps or something similar- the square neckline- Also very flattering, especially for this style of dress- the ruched/gathered bust- The bust is made of a smocked fabric which expands to fit. It adds to that “cottagey” look I was going for. It can easily be worn with a strapless bra. The fact that the fabric is smocked makes it really accentuate your bust area and curves. I am someone who could use a little help in that area so I always love fabrics like this one.- the flowy maxi cut- I love that the top is more fitted but the bottom is flowy. It is a really good cut and style which is perfect to wear on vacation, out to lunch or dinner, etc. This dress looks awesome worn with wedges or sandals.Now- there are a few things I should mention that were unexpected. The fabric itself is not a cottage floral print. I don’t even really think it has flowers on it, lol. It’s more of a geometric aztec type of pattern in person. That gives it a completely different look and makes it a lot less “cottage-style” and more bold. The colors are also really vibrant and bold. I thought they would be more subtle but they are bold.Additionally- I guess I was hoping the print itself maybe had some embroidery or threading that would make it dimensional or stand out somehow. It kind of looks like embroidery in the photo. But in real life it’s just a print on fabric. Additionally, the fabric is mostly polyester and I’m sorry to say that it definitely has a bit of that polyester look and feel to it. I’ve bought polyester dresses that felt more like a cotton blend before so that’s what I thought this would be. I was thinking soft, cottage-style farmhouse dress. So it didn’t turn out exactly like what I wanted- but it’s still very cute and flattering and I like it just as well. The cut is really flattering and the print doesn’t bother me, it’s just not a floral print dress. It looks like the vendor photos are accurate but they don’t show a close-up of the fabric so it’s hard to see.With that being said- I still love the dress, lol. It looked really good on me and has the flowy summery style I like. It is a very flattering cut and style and I’m not bothered by the pattern on the dress when I’m wearing it. I also think it is well worth the current sale price of less than $30. I would buy it again knowing what I know now. So I am very happy with the dress and can’t wait to wear it. Just double check the images in the reviews to make sure you like the prints. 5 stars!

So comfortable!
I chose the Caracilia Womens Summer Maxi Dresses Floral Smocked Sleeveless Ruffle Boho Casual Flowy Aline Beach Vacation Long Sundress in the Cosmos Floral Stripe in XL and really like it!It is not a floral print. It is more along the lines of an Aztec type print. The colors are vibrant and stay true after washing. The material is sort of a silky feel reminding me of a very thin parachute material. It will be perfect for lounging around on those hot, humid, Southern days.The fit is so comfortable! It does not hug or squeeze at the top and comes up enough in the back.(I was not wearing the correct bra, hence the showing of back fat in photo.) It is the perfect length for my 5’4″, 185-195lb, 36D+ frame.I did not look at the care tag prior to washing. I washed it alone on a regular cycle and tumble dry low. It came out perfect! No ironing needed. It is a great easy care dress.I plan on ordering at least one more in a different color.

Pattern is little birds
This Summer maxi dress is so cute and flattering. The fit is great. The material at the top is smocked which makes it nice and stretchy. The red color is vibrant and the grey and white accent it well. The length is a bit long on me but I am 5’1” so that’s typical unless a petite length is offered. I will definitely wear this dress on vacations. It’s perfect for warm days as the material is lightweight.

Perfect for summer
This dress is basically summer in fabric form. The crisp white background with blue florals is so cute it almost deserves its own Instagram account. It looks fresh, clean, and makes me feel like I should be holding an iced coffee at all times.The smocked bodice is super flattering and actually comfortable (a rare fashion miracle), and the length is long and flowy without making me feel like I’m wearing a curtain.It has that effortless “I just threw this on and still look amazing” vibe. True to size and print was nice!
I was pleasantly surprised with this summer dress. It was tiered but not fluffy. It gave a nice silhouette to the bodice. The material is not cotton and is made of polyester, so for Summer and hot weather it will be cooler on the skin. The size small was true to size and fit nicely. Nothing was poking or made it itchy. The blue and white flower print was clear and not blurry like some prints. Overall I loved it.
